Sunroom is the app where women and non-binary creators make money sharing their lives. We launched 15 months ago, and since then we’ve been observing how the product is being used and iterating. We’ve run experiments, done lots of user interviews, and iterated on the functionality and flows within the app. We’re a small team, where the product vision and design is led by the founders. We’re looking to pair with a data analyst to help us get deeper analyzing user behavior on Sunroom, so we can be confident making decisions and create a culture of data-driven decision making.

The Role

• Help the founders to answer specific questions they have about user behavior on Sunroom
• Make use of Metabase and Amplitude to query our data, put together new tables and charts that answer our questions
• Advise our engineering team on missing events that need tracking or ways to optimize our data tables for easily analysis

About You

• You’re creative in how you seek answers in data
• You’re proficient in SQL and can write specific queries. And you know your way around a Postgres database.
• You know your way around Amplitude, and can assist in formulating cohort analysis
• You’re available approx 5 hours per week to do ad hoc data analysis
• You’re familiar with data visualization tools (Amplitude, Mix Panel)
• You love surfacing insights using data analysis, and get a kick out of using this analysis to shape the direction of a product
